Valerie Ifueko Agberagba is a 1989 graduate of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering. She worked as a Quality Control Engineer at the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA from 1990 to 2010 and later, the Presidential Task Force on Power as Head, Institutional Continuity, Finance, and Administration in June 2010. She was later in 2014 appointed a Senior Technical Adviser, NIPP (Generation & Gas). In January 2016, Valerie retired from the services of the FCDA and joined the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited where she is presently the General Manager, Renewable Energy Department.
Engr Valerie Agberagba was Vice President/ Chair of the Committee for Women in Engineering of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations 2016- 2019. She also served in the same capacity for the Federation of African Engineering Organizations. She served as Vice President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers from 2011- 2013. In 2016 and was the 9th Past President (2006/2007) of the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN),
