Uche is an Entrepreneur with a background in climate science and local manufacturing. He focuses on improving renewable energy penetration in developing countries; considering the poverty level, developmental economies, and clean energy technologies adoption cost by promoting local manufacturing in the clean energy sector.
He is a co-founder and business lead at Greenage Technologies, a Nigerian start-up using local solar Technologies to address electricity access gaps in over 26 states in Nigeria.
He also currently manages the Hardware Garage, a hardware start-up and product acceleration Centre in Nigeria promoting manufacturing in the clean energy and E-mobility sector. At the Garage, Uche supports start-ups whose products are in the prototyping or ideation stage to develop commercially viable products. These backed start-ups also access pre-seed funding through the Centre and a local investment syndicate to help scale their project.
Uche holds a BSc in Geography (distinction) and an MBA scholar at the University of Science and Technology of China. He is Nigerian and speaks English and Igbo fluently.
He is also a lover of technology education for the less privileged where he organizes free technology classes for rural children and plays regular street football.
