Biography

Prof Stephen Ogajiye Tamuno-Ojuemi Ogaji has acquired over 29 years of cognate experience in academia and industry having worked as a university lecture in Nigeria and the United Kingdom before spending the last decade in an industry where he led the developmental efforts of several power projects including OMA and AZIKEL.

Ogaji, has a Ph.D. in Gas Turbine Engineering and a Postgraduate Certificate in teaching, learning, and assessment (PgCert) in higher education from Cranfield University, UK. He also has an MBA from the University of South Wales, UK, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Finance from Middlesex University, UK.

Ogaji has published over 100 technical papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences as well as three (3) engineering textbooks.

Prof Ogaji joined the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) in February 2016 and is currently the General Manager of the Fuels & Gas/PPP (special projects) department. He oversees all current and prospective gas infrastructures on behalf of NDPHC as well as leads the development of new power initiatives and public-private partnerships.
