Biography

Ms. Casey, Director of USAID Nigeria’s Office of Economic Growth and Environment, supports power, water, agriculture, trade, and livelihoods activities. She previously served as USAID’s Power Africa Policy Lead in Washington D.C. (2014-2016), and as Deputy Director of the Economic Growth and Infrastructure Office in Afghanistan (2010-2013). Ms. Casey has worked in other international posts in Eastern Europe and Asia in the non-profit, private, and government sectors, including roles in the corporate sector focused on environmental and social performance, and 10+ years focused on refugee relief and humanitarian response. Ms. Casey has a BS in Business and a Master’s Degree in Non-Profit Management from Regis University in Denver, as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
