Kira Rosi-Schumacher is an experienced professional with a background in engineering and consulting experience supporting large-scale US government and international organization strategy and development projects, with a special focus on energy development, technical capacity building, and sustainable business and market development. Currently, She serves as an Off-Grid Market Transaction Advisor with the Nigeria Power Sector Program, a signature USAID-funded Power Africa initiative in Nigeria, implemented by Deloitte Consulting LLC, that brings together the collective resources of over 170 public and private sector partners to double access to electricity in sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, She has worked in small enterprise assistance funds, leading technical and financial analysis for large scale financing, engineering assistance, and project implementation in North and Sub-Saharan Africa, and Eastern Europe. She has also worked directly with USAID Headquarters supporting policy business transformation and capacity building for new technological integration. She has degrees in Engineering and International Economics from Fordham University and L’Institut D’Etudes Politiques de Paris (SciencesPo) respectively.
