Jadeed is a Senior Combustion Engineer at Siemens Energy responsible for the design of low emissions, fuel-flexible combustion systems for Siemens Energy’s fleet of industrial gas turbines. Based in Lincoln, UK, Jadeed has over eight years of experience working within multi-disciplinary research and development teams in the application of high fidelity experimental and numerical methods for the development and validation of gas turbine combustors. Jadeed is also a doctoral researcher at University College London. His research work investigates some of the challenges involved in enabling high hydrogen combustion in land-based gas turbines with emphasis on combustion instabilities. Jadeed’s professional interests are in the areas of energy and combustion science relevant to power generation including low emission technologies, sustainable energy vectors such as hydrogen and ammonia, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), energy and climate policy, etc.
Jadeed is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria. He holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy and Environment from Cardiff University, UK. Jadeed is a Chartered Engineer registered with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is also a professional member of the Energy Institute, Combustion Institute, and Lincolnshire Engineers Panel. He is very passionate about the challenges and opportunities in the energy sector and developing enabling technologies in support of the energy transition.
