Colin Dreizin is the Director for Economic Growth and Environment at USAID/Nigeria. Previous to this role, Mr. Dreizin served in USAID/Mexico overseeing a portfolio focused on clean energy development and sustainable forestry. Prior to his time in Mexico, he led the Clean Energy and Environment Office in USAID/India. Additionally, he served in East Africa and the Dominican Republic as an Economic Growth Officer.
Mr. Dreizin came to USAID from the software industry. He has helped launch numerous startups and has worked at both Apple and Microsoft. He has taught university-level computer science and project management and designed software systems to mitigate the effects of fraud and corruption.
Colin Dreizin received his MBA from the S. C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University where he was a Bristol-Myers Squibb Leadership Fellow.
