Biography

Carlos Miro has a background on International Cooperation and European Affairs. He has been working in the renewable energy field since 2011 at different entities like the European Commission, the Alliance for Rural Electrification and GIZ (German Agency for International Cooperation). Since 2013, he works at the Nigerian Energy Support Programme based in Abuja. Currently, he heads the Unit on Sustainable Energy Access (On-grid and Off-grid). He specializes in the development of financial as well as regulatory and legal solutions that promote private investment in the solar sector.
