Biography

AyoJesutomi Abiodun-Solanke hopes to change the face of research by contributing immensely to the achievement of a happy, safe, sustainable, and fish food secured continent through resource management, value addition and building capacities.   Her primary area of interest is fish safety and utilization.  She lectures at the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Lagos. She coordinates a chapter of an international conservation organization, Mundus Maris-Science and Arts for Sustainability that improves awareness on safe ocean resources while empowering marginalized fisherfolks on sustainability and healthy living. She is working on developing safe and quality smoked fish products by control assurance of the habitats and fish itself.  She believes in the use of traditional and available preservation and packaging options supporting healthy alternatives. She belongs to many professional bodies and has won several research and travel grants. She is a fellow of AWARD and leader in many other netwotksi
