Ayojesutomi Abiodun-Solanke is a Fish Safety, and Utilization researcher at the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology. She has a PhD in Fish Postharvest Technology with special focus on the quality and safety of smoked fish products through the use of improved traditional preservatives, packaging techniques and smoking kilns. She coordinates a chapter of an international Ocean Conservation Organisation, Mundus Maris - Sciences and Arts for Sustainability of the Seas that advocate and do regular outreaches to coastal communities in Lagos.
She possess strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure effective collaboration and consensus-building among diverse groups. She brings these skills to fore to ensure interactions between different stakeholders involved in a project or initiative for the achievement of intended goals.
